What cloud platforms do you deploy to?

Advisory Apps deploys applications across all three major cloud providers — Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure. We also support hybrid and on-premise deployments for clients with specific data residency or compliance requirements.

Supported Cloud Platforms

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Our most frequently used platform. We leverage EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and other services for scalable, production-grade deployments.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Ideal for projects using Firebase, BigQuery, or Google AI services. We use Cloud Run, GKE, and Cloud SQL for containerised workloads.
• Microsoft Azure: Preferred for enterprises already invested in the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure App Service, Azure SQL, and Active Directory integration.

CDN & Web Application Firewall

We use content delivery networks and WAF services to protect and accelerate every production deployment:

• Cloudflare: WAF, DDoS protection, and global CDN — our most commonly used edge provider.
• AWS CloudFront: CDN for AWS-hosted projects, integrated with S3 and Lambda@Edge.
• Google Cloud CDN: For GCP-hosted projects, paired with Cloud Armor for WAF capabilities.
• CDNetwork: Asia-Pacific focused CDN for clients needing regional edge performance.

DevOps & Infrastructure

We containerise applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes where appropriate. Our deployment pipelines include CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, and monitoring with alerting. This ensures consistent, repeatable deployments with minimal downtime.

Choosing a cloud provider depends on several factors:

• Existing infrastructure: If your organisation already uses Azure AD or AWS, we build on that foundation.
• Data residency: Malaysian PDPA compliance or government projects may require hosting within specific regions.
• Cost optimisation: We architect solutions to minimise cloud spend through right-sizing, reserved instances, and serverless where it makes sense.
• Service requirements: Specific managed services like Firebase, AWS Lambda, or Azure Cognitive Services may drive platform choice.
